The Principality of Southwater was founded on January 11, 2024. It declared independence from the Alsann Republic due to increasing inactivity concerns. It is a constitutional monarchy, with the Sovereign Prince as head of state and the Crown Council as legislature.
The Principality of Southwater has two significant geographical regions, named the Swan Coast and Ibisca. The Swan Coast, near Augusta, is dominated largely by sandy dunes and islands, though a forest lies within it. Ibisca, at the foot of the Darling Range, has the Canning River running down its middle.
